Odawa Hotel Petoskey, Petoskey

I recently stayed at this resort during a busy wedding weekend, and while the lobby created an impressive first impression, the rest of the experience fell short in various aspects. The room left much to be desired in terms of space and upkeep, as it felt cramped and poorly lit. Although there were some perks like the friendly shuttle service to the nearby casino and larger room sizes compared to other budget hotels, the lack of sound insulation and poor bathroom facilities made it less enjoyable overall.

We had a great time during our stay at Odawa Hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a lovely view of Little Traverse Bay. The breakfast spread was impressive, and the pool area was enjoyable. However, we found the bed a bit hard for comfort, and had some trouble with the phone in the room not connecting calls, which could be concerning in emergencies.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, the overall cleanliness and breakfast offerings were impressive, and the atmosphere was perfect for families. On the other hand, I encountered issues with room lighting and smoke odors that really dampened my stay. Overall, it’s a place that shows potential with some improvements needed to enhance guest comfort.

However, the staff was accommodating and relocated me, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the lack of a gym and the unappealing view from my room took away from my stay.
